What Motivates Me?

by Bruce Gutman

Raised in a good neighborhood, my childhood was marked by comfort and privilege. Academically gifted, I qualified for the gifted program, yet school remained a challenge. It wasn't until my twenties, upon discovering I had ADHD, that pieces began to fall into place. Medication brought some relief, but the struggle persisted.

Life was tough—maintaining relationships, navigating family dynamics, and even succeeding in the software industry required a constant, fear-driven focus. My turning point came with the Hoffman Process, where I confronted and took ownership of my childhood patterns, emerging profoundly changed and improved.

There, I met my future wife, and together we've built a fulfilling life, achieving our unique version of the American Dream, complete with two wonderful children. Yet, battles with anxiety and depression lingered, alongside limiting beliefs that curbed my potential.

In seeking healing, I ventured into the realms of ketamine therapy and psychedelic experiences, with a life-altering ayahuasca retreat in Peru addressing deep-seated trauma from my birth. These journeys taught me to energetically release trauma, offer forgiveness, and, when possible, make personal amends.

This path led to a serene mental state, often described in Buddhism as the "quiet mind," where I'm no longer enslaved by my thoughts and deeply trust my place in the universe. My explorations not only cured my long-standing depression but also equipped me with strategies to overcome anxiety and social fears. Alongside friends, I've helped foster communities focused on personal growth and mutual support, transforming many lives in the process.

My aim now is to extend this healing and discovery to others, offering a scalable, accessible program for personal transformation. While our initiative is in its early stages, we're planning to expand with more offerings currently in development.
